Junior Team Information

All clinics are held at the Northeast Regional Recreation Center (NERRC, 7501 Oakleigh Road, Parkville, MD 21234; 410-887- 5374) and are based on skill level. The pro will determine what day or time will work best for each individual player. Do not register for any clinic without understanding that your day or time may be adjusted. Refunds are not available and there are no make-ups due to the special rate of this program. Be sure to always check the NERRC website (http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=nerrc) and weather line (410-372- 8169) for possible delays and closings. Students new to tennis should contact the TTREC chairperson to help with placement. TTREC has the right to change or adjust all programming, including instructors. Only registered participants are allowed on the courts.

You must provide your own racquet, tennis shoes, and water bottle. No adults are available to supervise children before or after clinics, so parents must be there at the beginning and end of each session. If you are not able to do this, you will be asked to withdraw from the program. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the clinics. Contact the tennis chairperson (Bob) with questions. Additional programming will be offered throughout the season.

** Registration is only done online. Do not register for any clinics unless you have been approved by our staff. There are no refunds made due to errors in registration.

** Be on time when dropping off and picking up your children. NERRC does not allow any child to be left unattended.

Coaches will offer many levels of training. Space is limited! All clinics are skilled-based and will require approval from tennis professionals for placement.

Junior Team Tennis

All sessions requre a code to register. Please contact Coach Allen Au to acquire the code for your appropriate session. (Coaches will determine which day is the appropriate level for each player and communicate that to you so that you attend at the appropriate time.)

Cost is $220.00 per participant per session.

Saturdays - October 15, 2022 through January 14, 2023 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm
Sundays - October 16, 2022 through January 15, 2023 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm

Saturdays - January 21, 2023 through April 8, 2023 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm
Sundays - January 22, 2023 through April 9, 2023 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm

Cost is $160.00 per participant per session.

Adult Tennis Program

Modified Program Rules

  • The TTREC tennis chairperson has the right to cancel court time.
  • There will not be make up times available if the courts are cancelled for any reason.
  • All court time is subject to sharing of the court time. You will be made aware when this will occur.
  • There is a minimum number of full-time team members required to fill a team.
  • The TTREC chairperson has the right to add additional players to any group.
  • Only registered subs and full-time players will be allowed to participate in court time.
  • The TTREC chairperson has the right to terminate any player or team should any rule not be followed.
  • At no time will any team or individual collect money from any participant for ANY reason.

Additional Program Rules

  • All Participants must be registered players with TTREC.
  • Any Substitutes for any program must be approved and a signed waiver must be on file with the tennis chairperson Bob. No player will be allowed access to these courts without proper paperwork and WILL BE TURNED AWAY by the front desk staff if said paperwork is not completed in advanced. You will NOT be able to fill out said paperwork at the door. These are Baltimore County rules.
  • There is no sharing of the courts with any registered on non-registered players.
  • Failure to follow all of these rules would result in a loss of your court time.
  • At no time are tennis professionals allowed on the courts if they are not part of the TTREC program.

Program Guidance

  • Before registering for any program, contact the tennis chairperson (Bob) to see which program will work best for you. Registering for a program that might be full or already assigned would result in a $10.00 reversal of transaction fee.
  • Any subs that need to register after this date must contact the Tennis chairperson at rwtaylor@bmtfirm.com (a limited amount of subs will be allowed per block time).
  • At no time will any fees other than ball fees be collected by any block time captain or representative. The ball fee must be a one-time fee divided equally among all registered players.
  • There is no sharing or sub-leasing of courts. All TTREC rules of conduct are to be followed. Failure to follow these rules will result in an automatic dismissal of your block time without refund.

Weather Policy

Should a day be canceled for weather-related (or NERRC administrative) reasons, make-up dates are not guaranteed. The Towsontowne Tennis program will do what it can to attempt to reschedule canceled dates, but they are not guaranteed. It is the responsibility of the block time players to check the status of operations with NERRC due to weather or other issues.

COVID Policy

Each registrant, for each session, must agree to the COVID waiver as presented in the registration form.  NERRC rules and regulations as it pertains to COVID (mask wearing, social distancing, etc.) must also be observed.
